General Characteristics

• Language: English
• Courses are homogeneous for age andlevel
• Age range: 4^th grade primary school –2^nd College (A levels equivalent)
• We offer the full range of levels from starters through to FCE
• Reduced group sizes with a maximum of 8 students
• 2 hours a week - 2 classes of 1 hour or 1 class of 2 hours
• Coursesrun from September to June and follow the school calendar

MT Idiomes

Our courses offer young learners the chance to learning English in a natural, dynamic and fun way. With all our courses we take a highly communicative approach to language teaching, and aim to create an enjoyable atmosphere in the classroom where students feel happy and comfortable interacting in English.

Methodology

For us,being able to communicate orally is the key to learning and enjoying a language and therefore it is essential that our students have the chance to orally practice the target language structures and vocabulary being studied in class. For this reason, 60-70% of class time is devoted to oral communication and interaction activities while written activities and exercises are reserved for homework.

Objective

Our final objective is that our young learners are prepared to sit for and pass the Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE), an almost essential qualification in this day and age.

Therefore, as students progress through the levels the courses become more and more focused on preparing the students for the exam which is highly demanding in all five areas of the language: Reading, Writing, Listening, Grammar and Speaking.
