MT Idiomes

Feeling comfortable communicating orally in a language is fundamental to learning and enjoying that language. Our oral communication courses have been created with this in mind and are focused on improving vocabulary, fluency and familiarity with specific English language structures primarily through oral interaction activities.

Methodology

The course has been carefully planned so that each week we deal with a different subject.This allows us to cover a wide range of subjects, from cinema and films, through travel and hotels, to work and job interviews to name but a few. The subjects have been specifically chosen based on their relevance to day to day life or their usefulness when travelling abroad.

Each new subjectexposes you to a specific set of new vocabulary, expressions and specific English language structures which we then work to internalise through a range of dynamic, oral based activities and through simulating real life situations.

Objectives

• To expose you to a wide range of vocabulary, expressions, and linguistic structures which are relevant and useful in your day to day use of the language.
• To improve your fluency and your ability to express yourself clearly in a wide range of different situations.
• That you feel comfortable using English in specific situations (ordering in a restaurant, job interview,…) by simulatingreal life situations such as these in the classroom.
